I plan to offer a case study business course called Wrongful Merger? From NSP to Xcel.  The course is structured and intended to be similar in many ways to a college level course -- however, I am offering it independent of any institution.

Impeachment Forum

Can Congress "fire" defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld, and other federal civil officers?

This forum presents a new constitutional theory that shows the answer is "yes."

Note: A "Law Professor's Brief" is now available, summarizing the nub of this theory for Professors, and others with detailed background knowledge.

As the torture and abuse of Iraqi prisoners has come to light, America needs to be able to quickly and decisively hold those who serve in our government accountable. 

The forum is designed to do three things:

1. Present the theory itself, with discussion and commentary

2. Promote reporting on the theory and debate about it in the news media

3. Organize and coordinate a petition of Congress:

a) to consider how to implement this theory, and

b) to begin an impeachment proceeding designed to "fire" defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld, and possibly others, but to have no impeachment consequence other than removal from office.
